Joe Benguerel specializes in financial planning with a specific emphasis on helping individual investors plan for and reach retirement goals. A licensed financial professional since 2002, Mr. Benguerel has worked to expand his experience beyond mainstream investment products to include private placement opportunities in tenant-in-common real estate and energy investments. He joined Direct Capital Securities in September 2006 in a move to provide a wider, more diversified range of product options for his clientele.
Prior to his joining Direct Capital Securities, Mr. Benguerel work directly for a tenant-in-common sponsor marketing and selling their product. This experience "on the other side" provided a well-rounded understanding of the industry and helped build a foundation of knowledge needed to discern strengths and weaknesses of specific Sponsors and/or Offerings. This experience has translated into the ability to provide critical analysis to assist his clients in making informed decisions regarding product selection.
Joe holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and is a member of TICA. He earned an MBA from Sonoma State University in 2002.
