An entrepreneur by nature, Craig S. McClain started a clothing store with
his brother while only a junior attending Louisiana State University. After
receiving a BS in Real Estate Finance, Craig continued to grow his retail
business, later buying out his brother and expanding the business to
multiple locations and millions in sales with over 50 employees.
When seeking to get out of retail, he re-connected with childhood friend
Clay Womack, CEO of Direct Capital Securities, and was invited to join the
leading firm in the burgeoning TIC industry. Craig has become an expert in
the structure and tax features of TIC programs and has spent the last 2
years making Energy an important part of his practice with in-depth
knowledge of the various oil & gas investment opportunities.
Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Craig is 45 and happily married for 14
years with 3 beautiful children aged 13, 11 & 7. His hobbies include salt
water fishing, riding motorcycles and participating in sports car events
working as an SCCA corner crew member at an area race track. He coaches his
children in baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer and enjoys nothing
more than a Saturday night in LSU's Tiger stadium.
